ÖAMTC – where people come first.
The new ÖAMTC mobility centre is a central support point, communication hub and service centre for Austria’s largest mobility club. And it represents a decisive factor for the further development of ÖAMTC’s corporate identity.
Visionary office planning.
The headquarters of ÖAMTC in Vienna’s 3rd district were constructed in just a few months, following intensive processing of the tender, the creation of samples and planning. In close cooperation with the customer, Neudoerfler developed individual solutions, ideally matched to the requirements of different areas of work. For example, fabric-covered partition walls were developed that improve the spatial acoustics, create privacy and meet the customer’s design requirements for the 750 or so workstations.
This individual approach and the fast response to customer inputs resulted in a work environment that radiates modernity and functionality as well as homeliness and well-being.
Office design as motivator.
The corporate maxim of ÖAMTC – “Openness and Transparency” – is reflected both in the building and in the office furnishings. The transparent glass architecture and the office wings arranged in a star shape around a central atrium create an open structure that promotes communication. According to the concept of “mobile working”, each employee can work at their personal workstation as well as in the various discussion zones, common areas or quiet rooms. The office areas also offer flexible design possibilities for future growth or changing workflows.
Customised planning, precision implementation.
In line with the corporate design of ÖAMTC, Neudoerfler created individually adaptable workstations such as the multifunctional containers that are permanently connected to the table construction and were specially developed according to the customer’s needs. These offer an extendible, optional seat for quick meetings with colleagues as well as lockable storage, which can be equipped with drawers, compartments or hanging folders if necessary. More movement at the workstation is also ensured with height-adjustable tables and ergonomic office chairs.
The modern office spaces are noted for having different zones for concentrated work, creative exchange and places of retreat. Acoustically effective enclosures and partition walls screen out disruptive noises and create a feel-good atmosphere.
