The Austro Tower in the centre of Vienna comprises around 13,000 m² of office space and offers workspace for around 650 employees. Twelve of the office floors have been extensively remodelled and equipped by neudoerfler with a fresh, innovative furnishing concept.

The design was consistently orientated towards the requirements of ASFINAG in terms of functionality, ergonomics and aesthetic demands. In the offices furnished by neudoerfler, pearl grey surfaces, black steel frames and accents in dark blue, light blue and beige characterise the modern working atmosphere. The furnishings are characterised by a stylish combination of wood - particularly oak in lamella form - and robust steel frames. This careful choice of materials and colours creates a warm, inviting atmosphere and gives the rooms a prestigious character that combines professionalism and well-being.

Flexible workstations that adapt.

An office that grows with the requirements of the employees - this is exactly what the new space concept makes possible. Instead of rigid structures, ASFINAG has opted for flexible and team-orientated work areas that promote dynamic use. The equipment is specifically tailored to the needs of the teams and supports different working styles - from focussed individual workstations to creative collaboration areas. Whether focussed work, creative teamwork or informal exchange - the furnishings create a versatile and adaptable environment.

Innovative details for a dynamic working day.

The workstations were equipped with electrically height-adjustable office desks that allow employees to regularly switch between sitting and standing - for more dynamism during the working day. Sockets and cabling are concealed in the table tops and table legs. A clever solution has also been created for headphones and smartphones: they find their place on customised shelves with an integrated charging function. This creates a balance between functional efficiency and an inviting working atmosphere.
