Design as an homage to the moon landing.
The first man landed on the moon in 1969. He was on board the LEM, the Lunar Excursion Module, today known as Apollo 11. In the year 2000, at the turn of the millennium, the LEM stool was created as an homage to the spacecraft and remains one of the symbols of the style of Lapalma to this day. The cult stool even adorns the permanent collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
