ODÖRFER, the wholesaler whose name is a byword for reliability, stands for state-of-the-art branded products and innovative solutions for bathrooms, heating, and building services. Founded in 1804 as a small hardware dealer in Graz, ODÖRFER looks back on a more than 210-year company history and today has over 380 employees Austria-wide.

Within only a few weeks, the offices at ODÖRFER’s location in Brunn am Gebirge were completely renovated and refurbished. 40 work stations, conference zones and the reception area were given a face lift in simple black & white. The minimalist colour scheme gives structure and coolness to the loftlike spaces and engenders an especially expansive atmosphere.

Generously-proportioned windows, glass partition walls and skylights provide abundant daylight, creating a pleasant, bright ambience for the staff. Black-painted, open ceilings with exposed pipes and white ceiling suspensions lend an industrial look that ideally complements the timeless design of the Motion office furniture.

Flexible partition walls allow for a maximum of variability, for example by enabling a conference room to be easily divided into two smaller units. A total of 100 metres of glass partition walls and cabinet walls segment the open workspaces.

“Neudoerfler impressed us with high flexibility and precise planning despite the tight timetable – and, not least, with suitable, high-quality products. These were determining factors for us, given that the offices had to be delivered and installed while the building renovations were still ongoing,” said architect Horst Witt of Architekturbüro Hochbau-Planung in praise of the cooperation with Neudoerfler.
