Company development
1946
Company founded by Karl Markon as a sole-trader firm. In a former armoured vehicle repair workshop in Neudörfl, Karl Markon establishes a cabinet making business. Initially, urgently needed products such as push barrows, windows and doors are made.
1947
Start of office furniture production. This was triggered by a first order for over 300 desks for the regional government in Burgenland.
1956/57
Construction of the factory on the present site. Start of industrial mass production.
1975
Site expansion. A 7,500 m² production hall is commissioned and the production area extended to a total area of 20,000 m². Major investments are made in the fitting out of the production plants - state-of-the-art machine plant is brought in. Due to the size of the company, the owner decides to reorganise what had previously been a sole-trader firm into a public limited company (Ges.m.b.H.).
1977
State coat of arms. The company is granted the honour of being able to display the Austrian coat of arms "Staatliche Auszeichnung".
80er/90er
Increased expansion of production.
1995
Karl Markon (now honoured with the title "Kommerzialrat") retires from the company. The founder hands over to his daughter and son-in-law.
2003
Taken over. A group of investors acquire in full Neudörfler Möbelfabrik Karl Markon Ges.m.b.H.
2004
Founding of Renggli Laboratory Systems GmbH as a subsidiary - it's core purpose is planning and fitting out laboratories.
2006
Company renamed as Neudoerfler Office Systems GmbH
