Time spent at school and university is an important phase in the development of young people. Together with the acquisition of new knowledge, this period is characterised above all by physical growth. For this reason it is important that the musculoskeletal system is supported by ergonomically optimised seating and desk furniture, as well as by physical activity. Correct posture when seated prevents spinal complaints and disorders and is the basis for a healthy body.

As one of the leading Austrian furniture manufacturers, Neudoerfler has developed a special furniture range for use in schools - Education.

In cooperation with educational specialists and physiotherapists, the seating and desk furniture has been tested in line with the latest research in our own ergonomics laboratory, as well as in daily use in schools.

New teaching methods and the use of up to date teaching aids, such as notebooks, have been allowed for in the design. Each desk is therefore provided with an integrated opening power supply and a slide-in top to conceal the cables.

Highlight of the range is the Education Ergo Chair. This chair has been provided with an ergonomic dampening system and individually adjustable seat height and depth. The skids allow dynamic sitting posture thanks to the rocking motion, which moves the back muscles and therefore helps to prevent tension. The rhythmic movement is not just fun, but even helps concentration. To make cleaning the classroom easier the chairs can be easily stored on the tables once lessons are over.

It goes without saying that all edges and corners on the Education range are rounded in design, so as to prevent injury. A slide-in top makes initial laying of cables easier and makes daily plugging in of notebooks to power and network cables so much easier. Circular apertures on the desk legs make laying of power and network cables easy where the desks are set up in rows.
